Stud fee and costs  

• If you cover multiple mares in the same season with one of our stallions, you will receive a €100 discount per mare.

• If your mare is barren, the stud fee is only €200.

• Declarations of Gust must be in our possession no later than October 1, 2027.

• All stated stud fees are exclusive of VAT.

 

Order sperm

• Fresh sperm is available at all times.

• Sperm must be ordered by telephone; this can be done every day of the week before 9:30 a.m.

• The sperm is delivered the same day.

• We provide free insemination within a radius of +/- 50km.

• Transport costs will be charged for the shipment of the semen.

• Tie Break is based in Germany. Shipping costs and costs for health certificates are passed on to the mare owner.

• The mare details and the owner's details must be provided before the start of the first insemination.

• The following stabling rates apply to mares offered at Van Bockxgrave Horses: Mare €13.50 per day - Mare + foal €15.00 per day. (excl. VAT)

 

Embryo transplantation

• Stud fees are charged per implanted embryo (pregnant in the surrogate mare); this also applies when multiple embryos are flushed from a single insemination.

• If no embryo has implanted in the surrogate mare, semen can be ordered again for the donor mare. The mare owner must provide Van Bockxgrave Horses with an overview, prepared by a veterinarian or ET center, of the number of successful embryo(s) per mare before October 1, 2027. If the embryo transplantation was unsuccessful, this overview serves as a declaration of non-nullity.
