“My family is famous all around the world!
Cristel (CSI 5* 1.60 m, Jérôme Guéry), Diacento (CSI 4* 1.55 m, Alicia Page) and Oak Grove’s Battle Cry (CSI 5* 1.55 m, Tomás Carneval) are my siblings!!
With his blonde mane and tail, four white legs and a blaze, Richman looks just like his father. And his sire is none other than the Olympic stallion Emerald van ’t Ruytershof. After years of competing at the highest level with Harrie Smolders, Emerald continues to prove through his offspring that he is one of the best sires in the world.
Richman is an exceptionally athletic stallion with plenty of presence and blood. He possesses outstanding jumping ability and demonstrates great suppleness and looseness. Richman moves exceptionally well and has a fantastic canter. He jumps with plenty of power, excellent use of his body and a very good technique over the fence. At the KWPN stallion inspection, Richman was highly praised for his jumping qualities, with his scope, awareness and outstanding balance particularly standing out.
We were very keen to add a show jumping stallion to our stallion collection, and the fact that we have achieved this with a stallion bred by ourselves makes it all the more special!
Richman is out of the exceptional Holsteiner mare Tiara M, whose pedigree combines Cento and Calypso II. Most of Tiara’s offspring are still very young, but she has already made a remarkable impression with her first generations. Besides Richman, she has produced no fewer than three show jumpers competing successfully at 1.55 m and 1.60 m level. The Zangersheide-approved stallion De Patrick Optimus DHZ (by Diamant de Semilly) is also a son of Tiara, as is Caesar Optimus (by Casall), who was selected for the third phase of the BWP stallion approval process.
Tiara’s best-known offspring is probably the fantastic mare Cristel (by Diamant de Semilly). Under Belgian rider Niels Bruynseels, she was part of the winning team in the prestigious 5* Nations Cup of La Baule in 2022. She also achieved fifth and sixth places in the 3* 1.60 m Grand Prix competitions at Knokke Hippique.
The Belgian top rider Jérôme Guéry has since taken over the reins. Together, they have already won the CSI 3* Big Tour 1.50 m class in Nancy. They have also achieved, among other results, sixth place in the 5* 1.60 m Global Champions League competition in Monaco, finished second in the Grand Prix of Lier and jumped double clear in Geneva.
Tiara’s other daughter, Oak Grove’s Battle Cry, is by Balou du Rouet. She made a successful start to her international career under German rider Harm Lahde. Later, Argentine rider Tomás Carneval took over the reins and has since made his debut with her at 1.55 m level.
It is not only Tiara’s daughters who are making their mark; her sons are also proving their quality. Diacento (by Diamant de Semilly), who has been placed at 1.55 m level, jumped clear in Vilamoura and Vejer de la Frontera. Under the saddle of Alicia Page, he also finished third in the 2* Grand Prix of Mullingar.
Tiara M herself is a sister to the renowned Holsteiner stallion C-Trenton Z. With Angelique Hoorn and Torben Köhlbrandt, he competed successfully in major derbies as well as 4* Grand Prix classes. He has sired numerous successful sport horses, including the internationally placed Centos, Cash Z and C-Traya, as well as the approved stallion Cedric B3.
A fantastic jumping son of Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, out of a truly outstanding dam line — the future looks very promising!
